Aware of the importance of safety, all CommStructures employees are required to complete the Commtrain Tower Climbing and Rescue course each year, as well as RF Awareness Training and monthly safety topics. Where other companies offer tower installations utilizing only one foundation technique, CommStructures gives you a choice between three separate foundation methods:

1. Spread Foundations - Utilized primarily for continuous taper monopole installation and freestanding communication towers, CommStructures can provide spread foundations in any size required.

2. Direct Embedment Foundations - Applicable for step-taper monopole towers, the Direct Embedment Foundation eliminates the need for reinforced steel cages associated with spread foundations and anchor bolts by placing the bottom section of the tower directly into the ground. Because the tower and foundation is a single unit, the cost for separate freight and crew mobilization is minimized.

3. Vibrated Direct Embedment Foundations - Our VDEF tower installation technique for monopole towers makes one-day tower and foundation installations a reality. The process uses a vibratory hammer to vibrate the tower foundation section directly into the earth. This reliable technique eliminates the need for drill rigs, water trucks, concrete pumping trucks, and spoil removal equipment. The VDEF technique is simply the fastest, most efficient tower installation method available.
